Dr Rakel Hansen BSc MBBS DCH FRACP

Paediatrician

Dr Rakel Hansen is a General Paediatrician dedicated to providing evidence-based, family-centred care for infants, children and adolescents. She is passionate about helping children thrive and takes the time to listen, explain and develop management plans tailored to each child's needs.

Dr Hansen works collaboratively with families, general practitioners, schools and allied health professionals to provide coordinated care. She is committed to clear communication and practical guidance, ensuring families feel informed, supported and confident.

Originally from Orange, New South Wales, Dr Hansen completed her medical training at the University of Notre Dame Australia in Sydney. She holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), a Graduate Diploma in Child Health, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in General Paediatrics.

Outside of medicine, Rakel enjoys spending time with her family, and riding her horses - which is a lifelong passion.
