Paediatrician for Hunter Valley Families

Families from across the Hunter Valley, including areas such as Maitland, Cessnock, Kurri Kurri, Singleton, Branxton and, in the Upper Hunter, Muswellbrook, are welcome at both our Carrington clinic at 93A Young Street (opposite Ground Up Espresso) and our Merewether clinic at 25 Llewellyn Street. Both are accessible bases for families travelling from the Valley towards Newcastle.

We provide general and developmental paediatrics, autism assessment, ADHD assessment and care, psychology, occupational therapy, speech pathology and dietetics.

Where it is clinically appropriate, many appointments can be conducted by telehealth, which can be helpful for families who live further from our clinics. You can read more on our telehealth page. Your clinician will advise whether telehealth is suitable for a particular appointment.

Hunter Children's Clinics was named with the explicit purpose of serving children in the Hunter Valley. Opening a clinic in the heart of the Valley is a long-term goal, and we are actively working towards it. In the meantime, families across the Hunter Valley are welcome at both our Carrington and Merewether clinics, and can also see us by telehealth.

New patients need a valid GP referral before an appointment can be booked.
