Tahlia focuses on a collaborative and strengths-based approach and utilises a range of evidence-based assessment tools and therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. She is open to working with a range of presentations, with an interest in anxiety and mood disorders, neurodiversity, and gender diversity.
Tahlia also completed her undergraduate and postgraduate clinical psychology studies at the University of Newcastle, and is currently working towards a Clinical Psychology PhD. Her research focuses on wellbeing support during the transition to adulthood for autistic young people. Tahlia will be joining our team in April 2024, working at the Merewether office on Mondays and Tuesdays providing psychological therapy to children and adolescents, and their families.
