Laura Hendriks

Nurse Practitioner

Laura is a passionate Nurse Practitioner and a proud Newcastle native, bringing over 25 years of nursing experience to her role. While she began her career in neonatal intensive care, she now specialises in the assessment of behavioural concerns in young people.

Laura's goal is to help children and their families navigate the often-complex path to a diagnosis. She works closely with our team of paediatricians and allied health workers to ensure families are fully supported, providing a calm and reassuring presence throughout their journey.

In her free time, Laura is a busy mum to two teenagers and loves to unwind by reading a book at the beach.
