Clincial Psychology Registrar
George (Hea-Young) is an experienced clinician in the area of mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions, having worked with children and adolescents in both the school and private clinical settings. She draws from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
George believes in holistic and practical psychological support for those who may be experiencing difficulties in their school, family, work, or personal lives. She is experienced in using evidence-based assessment tools to identify individual areas of strength as well as areas that may benefit from support, and uses a collaborative approach with children and families, understanding that each person has unique resources and needs.
George is a Clinical Psychology Registrar, registered with the Psychology Board of Australia completing her Master of Clinical Psychology in 2022, and a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
